I was born and raised in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada on 8 October 1983. I come from a long and storied history of pureblood wizards. My father immigrated to Canada ten years before I was born and worked for the Ministry of Magic in Canada. My mother stayed at home with me and my sister, Alice. I studied at Hogwarts and then decided to be different and went to a muggle university to see how their program for teaching was. The teaching bug took hold of me and now it is the most rewarding kind of work there is.
